I thought carnations were flowers...
Do you believe in carnations, how do we get carnations if we are not buddhists? does it matter?
yes, I believe in carnations. They happen to be my favorite flower and I like them in all colors - they look all wrinkled and yet fresh at the same time - and that's how I feel most of the time - all wrinkled from the ways of life and yet fresh and alive in the Lord.
Reply:Try growing them in your garden. Or go to Mass on Mother's Day. They give out flowers that day. Some may be carnations.
Reply:Nice flower! I would go to the local florist for my needs.
Reply:Do you mean reincarnation? If so, no I don't think it matters.
Reply:incarnation you mean? no. the belief that life recycles is just.. a stupidity. Why would you want to go through phases of life again? God put as on earth to prepare us for the afterlife and being alive again and again and again is absolutely meaningless. it's like Leonardo painted monalisa for each and everyone of his neighbours.. the lost of value. But yes I did believe it once, to many chinese movies
Reply:Jokes aside, I believe you mean incarnations. All souls incarnate and reincarnate (no matter what the relion or lack there of). When we die, we return to paradise (Eden, home, the other side, or whatever you prefer to call it). When we decide it is time to incarnate, we plan out our lives with the aid of others, and when the time comes, we return to earth in human form (spirits are species specific) to live out another life. (in a nutshell, that is)
Reply:The United States is a car nation - almost everyone owns an automobile. Or at least, owned one in a past life.
Reply:whats a carnation?
Reply:First of all, a carnation is a type of flower. I think what you mean is reincarnation, which means that your spirit inhabits another form of body made of flesh after you died, may it be an animal or human. There is no proven fact that reincarnation is true. But if it is, would you like to keep on living in this crappy world forever? I think every human has a unique soul which is different from anybody else. In my opinion, reincarnation is not true.
Reply:I think you mean Incarnations and reincarnation.
Yes you can be reincarnated even if you are not of a religion that believes in it. I am Christian and yet totally believe in reincarnation.
Here's a link to a website that might be of interest to you if this is something you want to know more about.

Reply:I believe we are all connected to each other and to creation (including flowers) in the past, in the present and in the future. However, my theory is different (and NOT my own) I believe in "cellular" memory. What we put into our bodies has been transformed by time from one thing into another, and we incorperate it into our own cellular structure. Who knows what's out there?
Reply:Most florists cary a wide variety of carnations in all colors of the rainbow, and very very few of them check your religious prefrences.
perhaps you ment Reincarnation.

Reply:Carnations are flowers and we get them by planting the seeds, picking the flowers or just go to a flower shop and buy a bunch.
Reply:I believe you meant reincarnation which means one's spirit reborn in another physical form upon death. If that's what you meant, then perhaps if such a thing exists, you wouldn't have to be a buddhist because if you've taken up high school physics or chemistry, we've been taught that the Theory of Matter and Energy states that energy can neither be created nor destroyed, only transformed. If this is so, then we can ask ourselves, "what is life?" "How do we inhabit our bodies?" Some say that it is a consciousness, a life force, a spirit, a ghost. If that's true, then it is a type of energy that inhabits our body. If the Theory of Matter and Energy is also true, upon death our energy does not die because energy cannot be destroyed. So what happens? Do we go to heaven? Do we go to hell? Do we come back as a cow? Are we reborn as a baby again with no knowledge of a past life? Who knows. THIS IS SPECULATION
Reply:i think the word u r looking for is..... Reincarnation, and it's not just the Buddhist who believe...
Reply:I think you mean reincarnation(s).
Check this out: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Reincarnati...
Tells you everything about it.
Reply:Carnation Instant Breakfast? I hear you are gonna love it in an instant.
Reply:Reincarnation = after you die your soul moves to another body/form, In Hinduism this is a good thing, you may change class if you live a good life. In Buddhism it means that you have yet to reach enlightenment and need to meditate on how to get to nirvana.
Carnation = flower
you = idiot
I'm out
Reply:You can buy carnations at any florist...they will sell them to anyone... even people who aren't Buddhists.
Reply:Yes I beleive in Carnations, they are beautiful flowers. You can get them at your local florist.
