And have my girls with with carnations mixed in with red roses. But my centerpieces are going to have baby breath, greenery, and bi-color roses , will that take away from my bouquet or should I just go with with roses mixed in with bi-color red and white roses. Remember it is an all red and white wedding.
Well, It is a red rose themed wedding. I might just go ahead with th bi-color red and white roses for me.?
We are doing a similiar thing. Our colors are silver and red....Girls dresses will be silver and the guys vests/ties will be silver...and I am doing red accents...my bouquet will be red and white roses and my girls will have just red roses.
Reply:I think for your centerpieces you should stay away from the roses. First off, that might get really expensive. And secondly, you want your bouquet to stand out, so I wouldn't use the same as the centerpieces. For the centerpieces maybe you should use the carnations along with spray roses (also called tea roses, they are like miniature roses). I think that would be appropriate.
Reply:That is the same thing I'm doing (only we're having daisies as well). I think the mixed roses would be great. It doesn't matter if you have the same roses in your bouquet as the centerpieces. Nothing is going to "take away" from your bouquet. You will be the star, so no worries there!
Reply:If the theme is red roses then I don't think it's going to take away. If you do carnations it sort of takes away from the theme though. I don't think it will take away from your bouquet to have rose centerpieces though. Your bouquet will be a hit at the ceremony and in pics but at the reception where the centerpieces will be nobody will be paying attention to your boquet. If it were a rose themed wedding though I would do the bridesmaid in smaller rose bouquets and make bi-colors and yours in a larger all red one. Just my opinion though.
Reply:Weren't you supposed to have most of this planned out when you were 12? Anyways, you don't want anything stealing your thunder, so just give everybody else the smallest red flowers the flower shop has.
Reply:Baby breaths are elegant %26amp; classy to ..and it's not too expensive....and you don't want to spend lots of money...on something that will eventually die/that's my take..I didn't spend alot of money on my flowers...and you could never tell...you just have to find the right florist...less is better sometimes...although it's a red and white theme...you don't want it too busy and all over the place.
