Do Poppies have a spiritual significance?
I think she may be here Debra ... I smell the sweet scent of Poppies in the air quite often



but I will give her bluebells

they are endangered here but are beginning to come back and grow wild again in parts

they are found in groves and brighten up even the darkest places

they are so delicate and beautiful but so strong and resilient

Reply:Here in Canada, poppies are worn as lapels during November, to mark Remembrance Day.



The reason why is because of all the soldiers which are buried in Flanders'Fields, which is covered with poppies.



"In Flanders Fields, the poppies blow,

Beneath the crosses, row on row..."
