What do you do when?

your 8 weeks pregnant and really hungary but the thought of eating makes you gag.... i need to eat something but everything i think about making just makes me feel sick.... wtf? maybe ill just make one of those instent carnation breakfast drinks.... ahhhhhhhhhhh any of you experenced this?

What do you do when?
yeah... I ended up losing almost 15lbs in my first trimester!!!

I had those Ensure drinks... carnation instant breakfast drinks are OK, but have a lot more sugar... you need some protein, the Ensure drinks are much better!

and I drank them quickly, if I sipped at it, it would make me sick too!! LOL I just had them cold, and would chug the whole thing really quick.
Reply:awww poor u i had that too really not nice try eating dry toast especially in the morning hope u feel better and good luck
Reply:yes, i had morning sickness and i couldn't eat anything that souned good to me at first. Just eat some saltine crackers and maybe you'll feel better to eat somethin else.
Reply:Try eating something light light, like rice. It might be hard but you'll just have to force yourself to eat at some point!
Reply:yes i have experiences that...i wasnt so lucky thought and it lasted a lot longer then three months....i was sick every single day of my pregnancy. I found it was harder to eat in the morning then in the afternoon..drink lots and lots of water, one of the only things that didnt make me sick was chicken noodle soup with crackers..
Reply:no
Reply:YES.....I have! TRY saltine crackers or white bread just tear out the middle and eat it soft without anything on it, sounds yuck but it wont upset your stomach! EAT blan things, no hot or spicy things. It will be better on your stomach.
Reply:Yes, just try crackers...or something bland.
Reply:ASK YOU DOCTOR ABOUT PHENERGAN FOR THAT
Reply:Yes...when I was first pregnant I was afraid to eat at all because I was so sick. Generally if your stomach is upset doctors say to eat the BRATY diet (bananas, rice, applesauce, toast, and yogurt). I don't know if any of that sounds good to you, but try to eat something!! Good luck and congrats!

Edit: Also, I forgot about them until just now, but there are these amazing things called "Belly Bars" that have tons of vitamins and folic acid and such in them, and they come in a bunch of flavors...I was ADDICTED to the chocolate ones! Look them up!
Reply:Eat bland things VERY slowly. I remember hating the sight of food, although I never had anything worse than nausea for a few weeks.

Try soft bread, crackers, maybe a scrambled egg. I always liked sipping an Instant Breakfast too.

Ginger helps to settle a stomach, try ginger tea, ginger ale, or even small pieces of crystallized ginger.

Poor thing! :(
Reply:Have milk, it fills u up without the thought of throwing up the more u focus on the need to throw up the more likley it will be that you do.

I had morning sickness from 2 months pregnant and it lasted til a month AFTER the birth of our son I was on medication and it still didnt help. Hopefully yours will pass.
Reply:Bananas always worked for me. The B12 in them calmed my stomach. Saltines...those were very, very bad for me but they work for a lot of women.

Make sure your belly is *always* full. It'll help keep morning sickness to a bare minimum.
Reply:nope i never had morning sickness
