Can boys get flowers?

I thinking of whether to get a carnation for a guy I like (not that he knows that I like him...) but what are your opinions on this? I'd like to hear the guys' opinions but the girls' opinions work too. Would I make a fool of myself or would it just be ok? Any ideas?

It's not about you looking like a fool. I would be more worried about him looking like a fool. No offense, he might even enjoy them, but who's to know who will be near him when he receives them. There are a lot of close-minded people in this world who would enjoy taking your simple gesture and trashing by ridiculing him. Just save him the embarrassment and give him the flowers behind closed doors.

Reply:Sure. Guys may enjoy food more than flowers, but everyone enjoys an unexpected gift, especially one that signifies someone's romantic interest in them.
Reply:Flowers are fine for guys, but a young guy may not react to getting one very well because the other guys might make fun of him.



I would go with a nice card instead and 99% of guys like chocolate turtles.
Reply:How about getting candy flowers to eat.
Reply:although that's a nice gesture, it might cause him some embarrassment with his pals and coworkers. send a card and save the flowers for when he is in the hospital.



or send him something he likes, sending him flowers that he will just throw out kinda says you dont know him so well.
