Back when I was in High School French, we watched this movie that was in French but had english subtitles and I can not remember what it was called. I don't remember much about it but I'll tell you what I know. It had this family consisting of a mom, dad and daughter who moved into this house. There was this farmer who brought a flower from a foregin country (it might have been a carnation) and was trying to grow it. He finds some sort of a water source on the familys land and steals all the water from them for his flowers. The village at the time was going through a drought. I don't remember anymore than that. If anyone has any ideas what it is called I'd be very happy!
