Making own centerpieces in Chicago?

My fiance would like to do the whole styrafoam ball-and-flower DIY centerpieces idea. Anyone have recommendations for a reliable florist that will sell purple carnations in bulk in the Chicago IL western suburbs?

Reply:Costco sells flowers by the stem for much less than a florist will probably quote you. They also have wedding packages. Also check out http://www.freshflowers.com

A bit of advice - unless you only have a few centerpieces to make, it can be very stressful trying to make your own in the days before your wedding. You might consider using silks so that your bride can create the centerpieces earlier before she starts to get really busy.
