Anyone else Valentine's flowers still alive?

I bought Grandma carnations on Valentine's Day and they are still fresh.

Anyone else Valentine's flowers still alive?
That's pretty cool. I work in a flower shop and all of ours are dead and gone.
Reply:ccooolll and dumb too
Reply:Haha, that's a good question. I just threw away my roses yesterday. Carnations are the sturdier flower, I guess.
Reply:Got my fiance a long stemmed red rose. It's sitting in his room, and only starting to wilt. :)
Reply:Daisy's my fav are still alive. They usually last two to three weeks.
Reply:They were dead when you got them!

They decay to black petals after a week.
Reply:No! I had to go out of town the weekend after valentines day so my roses didn't get any water for like 4 days. They were starting to die by the time I got home. (it also didn't help that my cat was EATING them while I was gone) Luckily I hung a few of them upside down in my closet so I can keep the dried ones for much longer!
Reply:I had a dozen pale pink roses and no they are still not alive.

But, with each group of flowers that my bf gives me I take one rose and hang it upside down and let it dry.
Reply:Yes my flowers or still fresh my favorite or daisys i make sure the water is clean and i put that little flower stuff on them so they can stay alive and buy the way this is a good question and carnations flowers or the best i bought my mother some of them and hers or still frseh to girl.
