I need not ask him! but im to shy! what do i do?

I like this boy at my school and hes really cute. I want to ask him out to our school dance the day right after valentines day. in our school, you pay $1 for a carnation that gets sent to the person of your choice. i want to send him one with "anonomous" written on it. But i dont know if i should because he and i are just friends and i dont want to ruin a good friendship if i do anything like that, and he also might ask me if i sent it to him, but i keep saying that we are just friends. i still think that hes cute, and i regret what i say sometimes. hes very cute and i need to know........What would happen if i sent him a carnation and he knew that it was from me? OR. what would happen if i didnt send him a carnation? I dont know what to do and i wish that i did know. please respond, you guys are my only hope! and i dont think i would want to tell him because im way to shy!I also wanted to say , that i really want to send him a carnation, but im way to shy! i can never tell him!

Reply:I think he might like you just as much as you like him, the reason he hasn't made amove is becuase you keep insisting your just friends. Im guessing your around 15? most guys just dont know how to talk to girls to well at that age. I think he may feel the same way about you, just make it more obvious, try seeing if the two of you can go out for dinner then a movie, and dont pull out the phrase "just friends"
