Crazy Glue, why it no stick inside tube? Evaporated Milk, how can the stores sell milk that's evaporated?

You've seen cans of Pet or Carnation Evaporated Milk in stores, right? Why would anyone buy milk that evaporated, how can the stores get away with selling it? Can't people buy milk that's still around that you can see? This Crazy Glue that is so strong it holds a man up in mid air who wears a steel hat that's glued to a steel beam. Remember that ad? How is it the glue doesn't stick to the inside of the plastic tube it comes in?

Ahhhh...yes evaporated milk!

Evaporated milk is used in making certain food preperations, usually dessert type foods.

It is evaporated down or thickened to a viscosity that is denser than regular milk.

Where as regular milk would thin out a dessert as to where evaporated milk will give you the the same content and taste but much less milk required!

Crazy glue on the other hand re acts to air.....air makes it dry or harden, inside the tube is no air so it stays a liquid!

If you leave the lid off crazy glue it will harde inside the tube!
Reply:Oops, had my polymers confused, Crazy Glue is hydrophyllic, that is it sets in the presence of moisture, it is the moisture in the air that causes the glue to set.

Keeping it in a sealed container keeps out the moisture and does not allow the glue to harden.

"Evaporated" milk has a percentage of it's water evaporated from it to reduce it and make it more "cream" like.
Reply:I think you will find this answer in the same place you'll find the answer to this one...Why don't they call a cow that has had a Hysterectomy a de-calf-inated cow?
Reply:The answer to the milk is easy, that is the process that the milk goes through before it is put into the can, FYI Evaporated milk has been around for many generations and was and still used in baking [ask you parents how long a generation is] As for the glue it does not stick to the container because there is no air in the container. Leave the cap off and it will like any other glue get hard.
