I am 32 weeks pregnant and have absolutely no appetite.?

I don't understand why I don't feel hungry. I used to get "hunger pains" but the past week or so, nothing. My baby has been moving alot, so I know he's ok, but I can think about what I want to eat, but not actually eat. I'm not stressed out, or have any reason to not eat, I just don't feel hungry. Is this common in late pregnancy?

I'm drinking carnation with milk when I feel it's time for something.

Thanks!

The later it got in my pregnancies the less I felt like eating. The baby is crowding your stomach making less room for it. Just make sure you are eating and when you are it is healthy food.

Congrats!
Reply:you're not hungry because your late in pregnancy, your baby is fine and you dont need to gain any more weight. I was the same with my 2 pregnancies. towards the end i wasnt really eating. esecially carrying all that extra weight. who feels like eating. you'll be fine. i wouldn't worry about it.
Reply:I'm only 25 weeks and my appetite is just starting to go down as well. I've heard that it goes down towards the end because baby is pressing so much on all your internal organs.
Reply:Your stomach is getting quite squished by now. You don't have as much room, and it's common to have a decrease in appetite. Try to eat regular meals, even when you're not hungry...eat a little at a time...you and your baby need those healthy calories. :)
Reply:I went through this as well. My suggestion is to make smoothies with extra protein. You don't have to eat a lot, but just some. Your appetite will return.

My smoothies had whole fat yogurt, banana, some kind of berry or other fruit, and either added whey powder or raw egg (use the pasturized ones at the store wrapped in plastic). Don't use the 'protein powders' as they often have unlisted sugars and use soy which is not the best idea to use during pregnancy.
Reply:your little one is probably pushing up on your stomach so it is squished. I find I'm only getting hungry once or twice a day these days, where as just a week ago i was hungry about 10-14 times a day.

You are doing the right thing though, drinking milk so you are getting nutrients. Unless you are starving, your baby is getting the nutrients it needs so long as you are taking your vitamins and getting SOME form of nutrition in which it sounds like you are.

I'm not sure how common it is, but I'm definitely right along with you if that helps. If it continues, and you are worried, call up your doctor's office and ask an advice nurse!
