Can i give my cat carnation milk..is it safe for him 2 digest?

Cows milk and dairy products shouldnt be give to cats and heres why.

Most everyone would agree that cats love drinking a bit of milk. While this is true, it does not mean that milk is healthy for them. Many cats are lactose intolerant because they lack the enzyme lactase. Without this enzyme, their bodies have a difficult time breaking down and digesting milk and dairy food products. This upset to the system can cause diarrhea and skin irritation. If your cat loves milk do not despair, there are several companies such as Whiskas that sell lactose free milk products that are designed with a cats digestive system in mind.

This is a good article that lists some other things cats shouldnt eat as well as milk.

yes
Reply:no most cats are lactose intolerent will give him a good case of the poops
Reply:Ya know I remember as a kid, on the farm when cows got milked there was always 20 or so barn cats sittin waitin for their squirt of milk. always poured the cats a pan full of fresh cow mild. and it never hurt any of them. So go ahead and try the canned milk
Reply:It depends on your cat. A lot of cats can't tolerate cow's milk - it gives them diarrhea, which can lead to dehydration, which can lead to death! Some cats can drink goats milk instead but it should still only be given as an occasional treat. There's no harm in trying but if your cat develops diarrhea don't given him any more. Always ensure that your cat has a supply of clean, fresh water. He doesn't really need to drink anything else.
Reply:If you want to give your cat some milk, then you need to go to a pet store. They have this stuff cold cat milk. Healthy for adults and kittens. My cats love it, and they don't have anything wrong with their digestion.
Reply:Please do not give your cat any kind of milk--cow, soy, powdered or canned. They can't digest it properly and it will make your kitty sick.
