If your always on the go, what would be the healthiest breakfast you can eat?

I am ALWAYS in a rush in the morning and in the past havent been to commited to eating breakfast, however i want to start being healthy and giving my body proper nutrition. I heard on a radio station about Carnation Good start? Is this good? any other recommendations?

If your always on the go, what would be the healthiest breakfast you can eat?
there is this great tasting oatmeal that only takes 90 seconds in the micro...if you like oakmeal....a piece of fruit is good.....prepare a sandwich with left over meat from the night before...fat free yougurt is good......protein shakes are better than that carnation stuff.....there are also the protein bars or whole grain bars
Reply:A banana or other easy to eat fruit is good for on the go as well as a cereal bar or something with whole grains and protein but that is low in sugar. Bagels aren't very nutritious they're all carbs (and lots of 'em).
Reply:Hi.

my breakfast usually is: whole wheet bread + cheese + nuts + a glass of milk

so good...
Reply:I always grab an apple
Reply:there is some microwave pancakes that are good for you
Reply:A piece of fruit, bagel with cream cheese
Reply:I start every day off with a banana and a nutrition breakfast bar.
Reply:Do you have at least one day of the week where you aren't as rushed? if so, make your own bran muffin (the pre-packaged ones typically do more harm than good)

Or, look into the Kashi breakfast products (waffles, cereals, quick cereals) they're tasty, high in fiber, have complex carbohydrates and pack in 9g of protein all at the same time! Pair it up with some fruit and out the door u go!

Reply:yes...it is listed as one of them, but there are many more:

Reply:Grape Nuts with rice milk and topped off with honey! Scrum deli-oushish! You can either eat it cold or warm it in the microwave.
Reply:protein is always a good choice too. Try string cheese. 2 or 3 "sticks". easy to eat in the car.
Reply:Make a healthy smoothie (takes like 2 min) and bring along a snack for later such as an apple or anything that isn't junk food.
Reply:I hardly ever eat breakfast, but when i do i drink either slimfast because it has vitamins (dont need it as a diet drink), or some kinda of protein shake
Reply:Cereal bars. Not the stupid ones like the ones made of kiddie cereal.
Reply:fruit, grab a banana, apple, if you arent a fruit person go for toast, a bagel, cereal bar or some sort of grain. If everything fails at least get a glass of juice to get your metabolism going.
Reply:I've always been concerned with eating healthy foods and the best recommendation I can give you is to look for meal bars at your local supermarket, or diet shakes.

Some common brands are SlimFast, Pria, Boost and Ensure, just to name a few. You will find the highest content of nutrients in these shakes and bars than in any other source- even a banana or orange won't provide you with the nutrition one of these has in it. Look for the low-sugar ones as they will have less "empty" calories. And there are some really good-tasting ones like strawberry cheesecake or mocha or even granola bars.

Another alternative is cereal. In general, all cereals are fortified with a good number of nutrients but the most healthy are the ones with bran flakes that are high in fiber. I generally don't have time for cereal unless it's the weekend, so I prefer the bars and shakes during the week for sheer convenience.
Reply:i usually grab a banana or apple in the morning. as for the carnation good start its a waste of time

Reply:yes
