Why do breakfast drinks fill you up?

The chocolate milk carnation breakfasts. i just don't get it.

Why do breakfast drinks fill you up?
Your Stomach increases and decreases day by day.

When you head to sleep at night, you begin a fasting phase of your day. Your body is used to it. thousands of years ago, humans would eat 6 or 8 times a day.

We however, due to simplicity of the subject have decided to eat three square meals aday.

So when we sleep at night, our stomachs shrink. When you begin to consume liquids, your body can not pressurize or decrease the volume of liquid as rapidly as food can be squished or squeezed into smaller portions. Therefor, liquids will give you the feeling you are full of eating, when really, your not.
Reply:They're meant to be a meal in themselves - they have a lot of nutrition and carbs in them.
Reply:coz ur stomach is its smallest in the morning because all yesterdays food is digested by then so thats why u can get filled up fast in the mmorning
Reply:no, they don't work for me. They are good for people who usually do not eat breakfast,so eating that early makes them queasy, but have a long day ahead and need something to keep them going.
Reply:Most breakfast drinks are high in calories and/or fat. So your body is feels full, because it is trying to break it down.
Reply:Cuz you are a freakin twig and don't gain an ounce. And you know they don't fill you up. You eat all the time and way too much. You eat more than my dad.

And I am leaving work...................

............NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Reply:I agree with most of the answers, however, breakfast drinks are loaded with protein which is a natural appetite suppressant. Carbs make you hungry, proteins don't. Good luck.
Reply:because when you wake up your stomach has shrunk if you drink breakfast juice it get full quick %26amp; your body is ready to go
