Can 4 weeks old puppies drink carnation milk?

No. And at this age you should be offering them dry puppy food moistened with warm water about 3 times a day until their mother is finished weaning them. They also need fresh water, no milk.

Can 4 weeks old puppies drink carnation milk?
Evaporated milk is not necessarily good for puppies. The sugars in the milk are concentrated and the rich formula will give them tummy problems, preventing them from absorbing what little nutrients there are in the milk itself.

Go to a reputable pet store and buy puppy milk replacer. It is formulated to provide the necessary nutrients and to be digestible by young dogs.

At 4 weeks, they can learn to drink from a dish as opposed to a bottle - but it is still a messy job.
Reply:4 weeks they are ready to eat food.
Reply:Most dogs are lactose intolerant.

So the answer is no unless you like puppy diarrhea.
Reply:No. There are special formulas for puppies. For the health of the puppy, I'd stick with those.
Reply:They can, but it won't supply the right nutrients. You can buy Puppy /canine specific formula from pet stores.
Reply:NO. Dogs cannot digest lactose and it will give them diarreah. Diarreah in a puppy so young can kill it. Mother's milk or a dog replacement. Never give a dog cow's milk.
Reply:Dogs shouldn't have milk period! Try puppy formula!
