People... Can you tell me what is your favorite flower or plant and why?

Everybody likes flowers and plants. Yes, even men. I have some plants in my office. And once in a while, I'd like to see a few carnations here and there. They give life to the room believe it or not.

People... Can you tell me what is your favorite flower or plant and why?
My favorite flower is the tulip. It reminds me of a trip to Holland that I had taken a few years ago and there were just thousands of acres of all different colors of tulips. They also smell soooo good and are gorgeous.

Of course, I am a real sucker for Sunflowers too. When they are growing out in the wild (like they are here right now) they just brighten my day to see them shining in the sun.
Reply:Red, white, or black roses are my favorites.
Reply:Orchids!!!! Ladyslippers in particular, the beautiful mottled leaves on the brachy and parvi types, topped by incredibly beautiful white or pink blooms... easy to grow, to boot!
Reply:My favorite is actually a Red Oak (Quercus rubra), I think that they are majestic trees with beautiful leaves.



I know this probably isnt what you were looking for, but it is my favorite plant!
