I have a loving boyfriend and I'm not on the market. I also have a male friend who is hellbent on wooing me. He told one of my best friends he loved me and would stop at nothing to have me. Now that it's around Valentines day, the honor society at my school is doing a carnation sale. My other best friend and I are doing sales in his lunch, and while I was selling in another part of the cafeteria, he bought 50 carnation tickets; all for me. What should I do? I value his friendship and all, but my boyfriend is starting to get mad and I'm not sure how to reject this suitor! He knows that I'm taken and not anywhere near being on the market; but he persists! I also have a second suitor, not so dramatic as the first, who's also making my boyfriend uneasy. I need help! How do I tell all these other boys no?
Thanks in advance.
A problem with a suitor?
Tell your boyfriend to get over it.
Reply:give the carnations to your boyfriend... all 50 of them... just try to do it as gently as possible, but be aware that all ways will hurt. Tell him, and if he keeps trying, be firm.
Reply:You need to gently tell this 'suitor' no. He sounds like he's a good friend. Try and explain to him that youre not available. If he doesnt get the message, give him back the carnations. Refuse to give him any means of liking you. It might hurt him, but he needs to realize the truth
;) good luck!
