Dodgy - UK R.I.P?

Does anyone remember the band Dodgy? They had some fantastic tunes out, and were big back in the mid 1990s. I was listening Free Peace Sweet (their 1996 album) yesterday and was reminded how decent they were. They did a great song called UK RIP, moaning about the state of the nation. I think, judging by the mess we are in at the moment, that their anti-racism tirade was pretty accurate. What say you?

Dry as you are, crippled leaves,

snipped at your prime, no longer breathes

Your fragrance is faint to my nose,

wish I could paint what no longer grows.

Where you're stood is a mystery to me,

the dead carnation is all I see.

I'm beginning to understand, I'm getting 'whiter' every day

This country is not United

and the Kingdom's passed away

Shall we start all over again, I don't know, I don't know

Bleaching light of the moon, clears just streets into my room

The dark cloak of paranoia feels warm just to annoy you

Stop longing for how it used be!

stop looking for how it's gonna be.

Dodgy - UK R.I.P?
i remember them, they smoked **** loads of weed, stayed out for the summer and played games in the rain

How to keep curls in
