Skim milk vs. Soy milk?

I am trying to decide whether to drink 8 oz of (organic) skim milk or 8 oz of soy milk in the morning with my Carnation breakfast mix. I enjoy the taste of skim much more, and am not necessarily trying to eliminate dairy ... does anyone have any input on this matter? I don't like all the fat in soy milk. Thanks!

Skim milk vs. Soy milk?
If you enjoy the taste of skim milk more, I'd go with what you like.

Although my mother-in-law has been replacing her few glasses of milk each day with either rice or soy and she's lost 10 lbs in 6 weeks, so if you're looking for weight loss, you might want to give the soy a try.

And the fats in soy milk are much different than in cows... They are fats that are more soluble and useable in your body so they don't affect you in the same way. You're body does need a certain amount of fat to work properly.
Reply:If you do not like all the fat in soy milk there is nonfat vanilla or plain to choose from, I personally like the taste of nonfat plain better than vanilla.

Nutritionally skim milk has more protein, but they both have the same amount of calcium. It really depends on how much money you are willing to spend because a gallon of skim milk is about $3 while 1/2 gallon of soy milk is around $2.50 and which taste you prefer.

I hope that helps you.
