Can you still find malted milk at the grocery store?

And if so what aisle should I look in?

I couldn't find it and the kid that worked there tried to help me but didn't know what I was talking about. We looked in the ice cream toppings with no success.

I remember my father buying it when I was a child. I think it was from Nestle or Carnation. It came in a jar with a white lable and a red lid.

Can you still find malted milk at the grocery store?
Yes, Carnation still makes malted milk powder. Yummy!! It may not be available in your area or perhaps your grocer does not keep it in stock. Some stores will supply items upon request if you speak with the manager.Good Luck
Reply:Malt is a process. It comes in a powder, that you add to shakes. Pre-malted milk sold in bottles is disgusting. You just need to look on the spice or the isle with chocolate syrup and find malt powder.
Reply:Yes but its in powdered form... i love that stuff
Reply:with the chocolate syrup/ chocolate milk stuff. i don't remember who makes it, but it should be there. i saw it a few days ago, so it's still made. and by the way, yum yum yum. that stuff is amazing!
Reply:Sometimes. It's by Carnation and would be found with the Ovaltine and Quik.
Reply:Carnation Malted Milk is where the coffee, Hot chocolate, Tea area is in Safeway.
Reply:ya...you can still find it....I dont remember...but probably in the baking isle.
Reply:Other brands are Ovaltine, Horlicks and Milo it come both in plain or chocolate flavor, they are in the international aisle or in the same aisle as the milk products like evaporated or canned milks, or where they keep the instant drink powders like Nestle's Quik.

The Malted Mlik powder from Carnation is a commercial product, but might be found at a Costco or Sam's Club, if you have a memebership
Reply:Carnation makes it as well as Horlicks and it's usually byt he powdered milk, condensed milk, hot cocoa.
Reply:It will be with other milk products, unless it was a milk additive then it might be in the baking section around the golden syrup, malt and so on.

Perhaps ask someone in the store, closer to your age group.
