I'm trying to make a list of flowers to search for, for my upcoming wedding. Besides the ordinary roses, carnations, tulips, etc.....what about unique names of flowers I can look for?
What are some names of exotic flowers?
lilies, iris, baby's breath, parrot flower( this one is so cool from thailand. the flowers actually look like parrots and are really small. I think they are the best),sweetpeas, tuberroses( smell really good), ranunulas, sweet williams, columbine, amayrillis, blazing star, pansys, brown eyed susans, purple cone flowers, black eyed susans, oh there are just so many and it so much to think of, I just could get stuck on this subject for hours. I have the following website picked and it is full of places to go and things to learn. Have a good time and enjoy this to the max! You only do this once, right? So have a really good time.

It can be hard to imagine what flower species will look like when made up into a Wedding Flower bouquet - try looking on sites with bouquets for ideas - hopefully they will explain the flowers that are included in them.
Try Orchids - cymbidium, dendrobium,phalaenopsis,vanda
Roses don't have to be ordinary - try David Austin Roses - they are gorgeous - or peony also are lovely
Lilies - Calla, Longi, Singapore, Gloriosa
Chincherinchee sounds cute looks beautiful.
strelizia or bird of paradise is very exotic so are nerine
lisianthus aka eustoma
