How do you feel about Katt Williams showing up at an awards wearing a noose?

I don't have the link to the picture, but he's wearing a dark carnation pink outfit and is wearing a noose around his neck. There's no word on why he did it, but it's true.

How do you feel about Katt Williams showing up at an awards wearing a noose?
Well I dont really see the problem, I mean hes the type of guy that does things his way, and I, personally, think he is hilarious, and if he wants to wear a noose around his neck then I think he should. I think if he wanted to commit suicide though he wouldnt wear the noose out in public to show people that he is a danger to himself......so therefore I dont think he meant anything by it.

Reply:I think he meant well.. but not explaining it didn't help the cause so many people are fighting for today! But I agree wearing it at a white awards show would have allowed him to explain it and bring more attention to the situation.. but him not combing his hair that day was also bad judgement! lol
Reply:I think Kat is trying to make a statement,but by wearing a noose he could possibly damage the case that many are trying to make about hanging a noose is a hate crime.His heart is probably in the right place though.
Reply:I was not impressed. If you really want to make a statement, wear the noose to an awards show dominated by white americans such as the A.M.A.'s.
Reply:Katt Williams was trying to ensure that the noose issue that has transpired over the last year with Jena 6, the Columbia University professor stays in the media. This is a serious issue and I believe he felt that bringing light to it during the awards ceremony would continue the dialogue. Most people don't even know about the noose incidents and it's negative connotation it brings to mind for most African Americans that have been occurring around the country.
